Yonder Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Yonder collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information in connection with accounts, trip planning, provider-backed search, and communication with users.

Effective date: March 15, 2026.

1. What information Yonder collects

Yonder may collect account information such as your email address, profile details, and authentication records. It may also collect trip-planning information such as trip membership, invites, preferences, approved briefs, reactions, search activity, shortlist decisions, and saved provider-backed options linked to a trip.

If you contact Yonder directly, Yonder may collect the information you include in that message, such as your name, email address, subject, and message content.

2. How Yonder uses information

Yonder uses personal information to operate the service, provide account access, support group trip collaboration, generate shared planning views, run provider-backed search, respond to messages, and maintain the security and integrity of the product.

Yonder may also use operational information to troubleshoot issues, understand product usage, and improve the planning workflow over time.

3. Shared trip visibility

Yonder is built for collaborative planning. Information you add to a trip, including preferences, reactions, and planning inputs, may be visible to other members of that trip where needed for the planning flow to work properly.

Owners and admins of a trip may have access to additional controls or information necessary to review the brief, trigger search, and finalise direction.

4. Third-party providers

Yonder may display information sourced from third-party travel providers and may send users to those providers to complete bookings. When you leave Yonder and interact with a provider site, that provider handles your information under its own privacy practices.

Yonder may store normalized copies of provider search results, identifiers, pricing snapshots, links, and timestamps so the group can compare options together inside the product.

5. Legal bases and purposes

Where applicable, Yonder processes information because it is necessary to provide the service you request, to communicate with you, to maintain product security, and to pursue legitimate interests in running and improving the product.

If Yonder introduces optional marketing communications later, those would be handled separately from core product and account communications.

6. Retention and security

Yonder keeps information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain trip records, investigate issues, and meet legal or operational obligations. Exact retention periods may change as the product matures.

Yonder takes reasonable steps to protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

7. Your choices

You can choose what information to submit to Yonder, although some information is needed for the service to function. If you want to ask about access, correction, or deletion, you can contact Yonder directly.

8. International providers and external links

Because Yonder may connect to travel providers and other services in different jurisdictions, information shown in or linked from Yonder may involve external services that operate internationally.

When you leave Yonder for a third-party provider, that provider’s own privacy notice and data handling practices apply.

9. Children

Yonder is not intended for children to use independently without appropriate supervision and is not designed as a service directed specifically to children.

10. Changes and contact

Yonder may update this policy from time to time. If the changes are material, Yonder may update the effective date and revise the policy text on this page.

Questions about privacy or data handling can be sent to hello@yonder.travel.
